Starting The Year Right With Funding Societies

We kickstarted January of 2019 by hosting our first investor events of 2019.

On the 22nd of January, some of our existing investors (in the Prestige, Platinum and Gold tiers of FS Privilege loyalty program) were invited to an exclusive dinner and update. Our co-founder, Kelvin Teo, shared our 2018 achievements and 2019 mission and had an engaging and insightful Q&A session.

On the 24th of January, we met with a large crowd of new investors, who came for our event at Lowercase cafe.

We had Ming Feng, Head of Content & Growth at Seedly who presented on harnessing personal finance knowledge with the power of community. Seedly’s community users provide reviews on various financial products, including P2P investments. Seedly has written an article on P2P lending platforms in Singapore and also has a review page on P2P lending platforms in Singapore.

Our Senior Director of Marketing and Customer Experience, Vikas Jain shared a brief history of P2P lending and how to invest with Funding Societies. This was also when we had lots of relevant questions from the audience!

For the first time, we had the honour of having the presence of one of SME clients, Mr Nelson Ng from World Snack Pte Ltd to share his experience with Funding Societies and how timely and adequate financing enabled his business. Watch or read Nelson’s success story here.
